Imec’s snapshot SWIR range hyperspectral imaging camera offers a simple, fast and easy to setup system for your hyperspectral acquisition and analysis of sample materials. Our solution is flexible and designed to enable application development using hyperspectral imaging technology, delivering relevant test data within a few minutes after initial installation. It includes all required components, from imager to camera, lens, interface cables and software and can be easily rebuilt into different configurations.

Photonics West 2022, Moscone Center, San Francisco exhibition is coming up quite soon: Jan. 25-27, 2022. The exhibition hours are 10 am to 5 PM the first two days and 10 am to 4 PM the last day of the exhibition.

New Megapixel SWIR Camera

Pembroke Instruments announces the release of the new SenS 1280 SWIR camera with megapixel resolution, low noise floor, and 10 micron pixel size.

WiDy SenS 1280 is the newest member of NIT SWIR InGaAs camera series. This camera provides a high resolution of 1280x1024px @10µm pixel pitch, a high sensitivity with a typ. RON < 40 e- while preserving the unique HDR LOG response. The camera will be available in USB 3.0 in May 2021 and CameraLink in summer 2021.

Megapixel SWIR Camera

New SWIR Microscope Platform Supports Flexible Optical Breadboards

Pembroke Instruments announces the release of the new SWIR Microscope 200 platform. The platform supports unprecedented flexibility for range in Field of View (FOV), magnification, zoom control, and compatibility with standard C-Mount SWIR cameras. The customer can select a configuration with standard baseplate (above left) or attachment to popular optical breadboards which enables attachment flexibility for accessory components such as light sources and precision translation stages.

SWIR microscopy has rapidly evolved with the recent advances in SWIR sensor technology, LED and laser light sources, and modular optics to support high imaging performance  and flexibility at low cost. Applications include

  • Defect detection in materials transparent to light >1300 nm, notably semiconductor wafers
  • General fluorescent SWIR imaging in the range 900-1800 nm
  • In-Vivo fluorescent imaging for medical research
  • Art and forensics research
  • SWIR microscopy of minerals and geological samples

Key features of the SWIR-200 Microscope Platform include

  • Customer selection of Field of View (FOV), magnification, and working distance
  • Choice of standard baseplate or attachment to optical breadboard
  • Ultra stable under conditions of high magnification with micron precision for vertical adjustment

New LiSa Linescan SWIR Camera

Pembroke Instruments announces the release of the new LiSa linescan SWIR camera with 2048 pixel resolution, 7.5 um pixels,  60 kHz frame rate with CameraLink.

The new LiSa linescan camera enables high performance machine vision imaging applications in the 900-1700 nm SWIR spectral region. 60 kHz frame rate is achieved through the Cameralink port at 2048 pixel resolution. The LiSa comes with complete software tools for quick implementation of your machine vision application.

LiSa applications include:
